Identipark Parking Guidance System
Identipark is an intelligent bay monitoring and parking guidance system.
The occupancy of each parking bay is constantly monitored by a Parking Bay Sensor and this information collected by the facility’s computer. It then uses this information together with other vehicle monitoring data collected from detectors strategically placed around the facility to efficiently directs vehicles to areas where there are vacant parking bays.
Drivers are directed by illuminated guidance displays. Green arrows or red crosses advise them which directions to take to locate available parking spaces. The real time information identifies the number of free parking spaces in any one direction which can be displayed on variable message signs. The modular variable messaging system can interface with urban traffic information signs.
